We have a small showroom where we have a limited
selection of furniture on display. This enables us to reduce our costs, and pass
these savings onto our customers.
Dispatch Policy
We do not keep large stocks of products as this helps us maintain our low
prices. Delivery will normally be within 2-3 weeks unless otherwise indicated.
Any delays
will be communicated to the customer. In all cases of home delivery, we will contact you to arrange a delivery date.
Delivery charges are quoted for working days only and not weekends or Bank
Holiday's. Saturday deliveries are possible for an additional delivery charge,
please contact us for details. Abortive attempts at delivery when we have given a delivery date, and when the haulage contractor has surcharged us,
will be invoiced and charged for in full. In this case, the customer may be
required to collect the furniture from a distribution depot.
Unfortunately we do not usually ship any of our products outside of mainland England, Scotland or
Wales. All delivery prices are quoted to these countries only. However, special arrangements can be made depending on the product(s)
being ordered. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. Please visit our

Orders exceeding £625 qualify for the free
delivery offer with the exception of the postcodes listed below:

If delivery is required in these areas, please
contact us before you place an order for an accurate quotation. If a delivery is
placed online before a quotation has been provided, an invoice will be sent for
the difference or a full refund offered.
As a general guideline we usually advise that
items in our 'Oak Beam Range' or lighter items that are ready built will need a
second person for lifting.
Product Finishes and Colours
The physical colour of the product finishes may vary from that shown on this website due to limitations of
browser software and monitors.
Our Oak furniture is made with Dovetail joints
and finished in oil. This can be re-applied on damaged areas or as a general
protection for the furniture. We are happy to provide advice on how best to keep
your furniture looking its best.
Some of our Oak Beam products are crafted out of
'Green Oak'. This refers to products that are manufactured out of partially unseasoned timber. Over a period of years the oak will develop splits,
cracks and checking as it seasons, adding to its naturally beauty, character and uniqueness. We do not accept any
returns based on the natural character or appearance of the wood from seasoning.
We recommend that unseasoned products are not placed directly on rugs or carpets
as they release moisture over time and there is a risk of staining.
Cancellation and Returns
Under distance selling regulations you have 7 working days after placing your
order to give us written notice of cancellation (exclusions apply). If your
cancellation request is received after the item(s) have been despatched, please
contact us and review the returns policy.
You are required to check the goods at the time of delivery, for any damage or shortages and note down any problems on
the delivery receipt. If the item is badly damaged, refuse the item and contact us immediately. Defective goods found
after this time must be notified to Orchard Furniture within 24 hours of delivery.
If the item is undamaged, and simply not required, we will arrange collection on
behalf of the customer. Goods must be returned in their original packaging. In
the event of a damaged item, the product will either be replaced or the value of defective goods will be reimbursed to the customer only on receipt to us, and confirmation of defects.
A payment is not an order confirmation or order acceptance by us. Unless we have
notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it, order
acceptance and the creation of the contract between you and us will take place
at the point the goods you have ordered are despatched from our warehouse to be
delivered to the address you have given us. We reserve the right to cancel or
refuse orders for items offered at an incorrect price.
Liability
You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless
immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable
legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this
Website, or the use by any other person accessing the Website using your shopping account and/or your Personal
Information.
We reserve the right to: modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you
confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website;
and/or change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such
change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine
whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately
stop using the Website.
We make no warranty that the Website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that
defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or

that you may (if necessary to make a Purchase) download such material and content for such purpose. You are permitted to
